# Quickstart

Navigate to the website address you have been given for your care home group's instance of Guardian Care Governance.&#x20;

Enter your email address and the password you were given and click sign in

The URL will be something like <\<yourcarehomegroup>>.guardiancaregov.com

### Forgot your password

If you have forgotten your password, you can just click the ***FORGOT PASSWORD*** link underneath the Sign in button. This will then take you to a form. Enter your email address, and you will be sent a link which will allow you to reset your password.&#x20;

The link you are sent will expire after 1 hour, so make sure you reset your password straight away.

### Logging in

After logging in, you will be directed to your home screen dashboard. What you see on your home screen depends on your role. Some people will see more than others!
